The former home of a noble family from the days of the Austro-Hungarian empire. It has been empty for several years yet the imposing nature of this grand country manor house remains. In need of full restoration, it does offer the chance to re-create something grand from the now the faded building and grounds.

Starting inside at the upper level, this 'glass' room offers perfect views out over the vineyards which once belonged to this property, and then further over the hills of Varazdin county. This room has original parquet flooring, it measures 5.3m x 4.2m, the ceiling height throughout this floor is a high 3.3 metres.
This floor is dominated by this central vestibule which measures a whopping 11.3m x 5.0m, it is separated by French style doors, there are large windows at both ends giving good natural light. Most of the rooms at this level converge onto this space.
Upper level. Accessed from the main vestibule, this room measures 5.3m x 4.8m, again with 3.3m ceilings. The old "call the staff" buttons are still in place on the wall. The original herring-bone parquet floor is in fair condition.
Adjacent is this former bathroom with an adjoining door, sadly everything has been removed including the wall tiles. 5.4m x 2.0m.
Crossing to the other side of the central vestibule and entering via a set of French doors, there is another large bedroom, 5.4m x 4.4m, it has windows to the front and flank walls. The herring-bone parquet survives quite well.
One corner of the upper level appears to be given over to utility functions. The rooms are smaller and there seems to be a former kitchen plus three other smaller rooms plus stairs to both the next level down and up to the roof space. The roof space is one large open area measuring 15.5m x 11.2m (the house footprint size). There are gable windows to one side, five chimneys, a full concrete load bearing floor, the structural beams are massive. The floor to central apex height is some 4.6m.
Moving down the stairs from the higher level to the ground floor, you arrive at what appears to be another utility area of four smaller rooms, perhaps these were staff quarters. Two of the rooms measure 4.0m x 3.2m and 2.6m x 2.6m, the other two are smaller.
Directly beneath the upper level central vestibule is this room of similar proportions at 5.0m x 11.4m. Less ornate than its upper level partner but still an enormous space. The floor apears to be laid with flagstones. It has large windows at one end and French doors (shown) at the other.
The east wing has this double height space, the ceiling being at the same height as the ground floor room whilst the floor is lower by a complete level. Clearly there was once a large timber wine press at work here in days gone by. At 9.3m x 5.3m and a height of 4.9m, this is a huge space. The large double doors shown lead out towards the annex and onto the vineyards. There are windows at both ends.
From the 'press' room, there are more large double doors leading further down to a full two-room basement utilising 2/3rds of the building footprint. Each measuring 11.4m x 4.9m. A large basement swimming pool and massive games room perhaps?
Attached to the main house is this annexe structure, currently split into rooms, the overall dimensions are 9.0m x 6.4m. There is no internal connection between the house and the annexe.
Beneath the front of the main house is a curiously shaped basement style space. With an earthen floor and pill-box style windows, its former purpose escapes us completely. Overall dimensions are 12.2m x 3.8m.
There is an integral garage measuring 5.3m x 5.4m with windows and a strange plaque extolling the actions of then original owner, Dr. Vladimir Milković, who appears to have engaged in some kind of war action here in 1943, more about that below....
